We are pleased to announce Trang Dang as the grand prize winner of the Coca-Cola “Art of Recycling” contest. The overall winning piece titled “Open Happiness” was a stunning collage of recycled Coca-Cola labels portraying a smiling woman with a bouquet of Coke Zero labels spilling out of a glass bottle. Dang won a MacBook Pro valued at $1,500.

First prize winner Lauren Linge’s artwork titled “Sustain the World” created a unique view of the Earth by shaping different Coke packages into six major continents. Linge won an Apple Store gift card worth $500.

Second prize was presented to Jennifer Park for the beautiful earrings she created  from Fanta and Cherry Coke aluminum cans. For her efforts Park won an Apple Store gift card worth $250.

Sean Ephraim and Cristiane Cunha also submitted entries; Sean created a mask made up of aluminum cans and Cristiane created digital print "The Glass Coke Bottle."

Contestants of “The Art of Recycling” were asked to create an original piece of artwork using at least 45 percent recycled Coca-Cola product packages, along with any other recycled materials. A panel of judges made the final decision based on the use of Coca-Cola products, creativity, construction, and public vote.
