Darrow Center is a senior in her final semester here at the University of Iowa majoring in mechanical engineering, and a minoring geography. Four years ago, she made the choice to pursue her education here at Iowa due to the connectivity between the campus and the city. Her choice to take the Contemporary Environmental Issues class here has reinforced the importance of sustainability to her. Something she had previously experienced from visiting nature centers as a child.

                Darrow has been quite involved in the realm of sustainability through her various roles on campus. Being an involved member of AWEA and her internship experiences have helped her to secure at Design Engineers in Cedar Rapids after her gradation. Good luck, Darrow!
