UI Student Garden Fall Open House

The University of Iowa Student Gardeners would like to invite you to the annual fall open house and day of service on Sunday, September 23 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. We inivte you to spend the afternoon with us learning about sustainable gardening and feasting on a potluck. Should you decide to join for this day in the sun, your afternoon will look like:
1:00 - 1:30 Open house/tour
1:30 - 1:50 Visual cues to nutrient deficiencies workshop
2:00 - 2:20 Seed saving workshop
2:30 - 2:50 Composting workshop
3:10 - 3:30 Garlic planting workshop
3:30 - 4:00 Greenhouse pull
4:00 Potluck
There will be an array of activities for children, including face painting and plant potting. Our day of service and open house will be held at our student production garden. Click here to find helpful directions.
