Video - MBA organizational change course makes the business case for sustainability

May 25, 2011

The University of Iowa’s 2020 Sustainability Targets announced at the end of October 2010 made headlines. Now the hard work of setting the course to hit those targets is in motion.

One of the goals is to increase student opportunities to learn and practice principles of sustainability. The Strategic Management of Change class in the UI Henry Tippie School of Management provided such an opportunity. The MBA level course taught by Sara Rynes pairs UI students with clients both on and off campus with real-world solutions that will jointly benefit the environment and support business. Two of the projects from that class are featured in a new video which will be the third segment in Iowa Magazine on the Big Ten Network Monday, May 30, 2011 at 12 p.m.

The video clip can be found on the University's YouTube site, http://youtu.be/iJBWN0qvqFg.
