My background: I am a sophmore majoring in environmental engineering and minoring in environmental policy. I served as a Senator of Undergraduate Student Government at Iowa my freshman year, focusing on sustainability and student life. I am a hospital liaison for Dance Marathon, providing emotional and financial support for pediatric oncology patients and their families. Additionally, I am researching environmental impacts on vulnerable populations undert the guidance of IIHR-Hydroscience & Engineering Department. 

Why I'm passionate about sustainability: I am passionate about sustainability because every human has one thing in common: our home, Earth. I believe working to save our environment will unify our country and world.
