Ashton Prairie Research Assistant

Sarah is in her 3rd year at the University, majoring tin Environmental Science with a focus in Biosciences. Growing up, Sarah was always interested in nature and the things happening around her. She figured that humans have the capability to save these environments that have been tarnished by our pollution. She believes sustainability was the best route for her to take in order to work towards protecting the nature she loves!

Sarah is currently leading a group of undergraduate students in the collection of baseline water quality data in Camp Cardinal Creek, and also will be working on a plant identification out at the prairie to see what plants are growing after a few seasons. They are also working on finding solutions for erosion control and finding groundwater leaching into the stream.
