Join the Hubbell Environmental Law Initiative and the Iowa State Bar Association for a dynamic session spotlighting Iowa Law students who spent their summer immersed in environmental law and policy work across the state, region, country, and world! Through 3–5 minute lightning talks, these future environmental leaders will share insights from their internships—from litigation and advocacy to research and regulatory practice. This session highlights the real-world impact of HELI’s experiential programs and offers a glimpse into the next generation of environmental legal professionals in action. More information about the students featured and the organizations discussed, see this news announcement: https://heli.law.uiowa.edu/news/2025/05/heli-expands-experiential-opportunities-future-environmental-leaders

This session is part of the Environmental Law CLE at Iowa Law, a daylong event bringing together practitioners, scholars, and students to explore pressing environmental legal issues, share practical insights, and foster community across the field.

This event is open to students of all levels, faculty, and members of the public. If you are interested in careers in environmental law, exploring law schools, or learning what it means to serve as an environmental law intern - join us!
