About the curators:

Lindsay Moen is the lead public services librarian at the University of Iowa Libraries Special Collections and Archives, where she has held various roles and titles for over 16 years. In her current role, she manages the public services initiatives of the department and works heavily with student employees and various curators to support stacks management. Lindsay works regularly with the “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society to help facilitate access to Darling’s political cartoons for researchers from all over the world.

Collin Vandewalle is the Sackner project archivist for the Ruth and Marvin Sackner Archive of Concrete and Visual Poetry at the University of Iowa Libraries Special Collections and Archives. He previously held the role of exhibit support librarian. His extensive archives work and research with J.N. “Ding” Darling collections at Drake University’s Cowles Library Archives and the UI Libraries have given him deep knowledge of Darling’s life and work. While earning a master’s degree from the UI School of Library and Information Science, Collin worked as a graduate student lead processing Darling's original cartoons and archival materials.
