Fall Early Bird Hike

Fall Early Bird Hike promotional image

Macbride Nature Recreation Area is considered a birding hotspot, especially during Fall migration! Grab your binoculars and join one of our expert Iowa Raptor Project volunteers in search of Fall migrants including flycatchers, warblers, scarlet tanagers, and more! Our hike will begin promptly at 7:00 am at the Iowa Raptor Project parking lot. Activity Level: Moderate.

This is a FREE event! Advance registration is required, however, as space is limited. Birders of all ages and abilities are welcome!

Please dress for the weather as this program will be held fully outdoors. Expect rugged, rocky terrain that could be muddy or slippery due to seasonal weather conditions. Registrants will be notified by email in the event of a cancellation due to inclement weather.
