Beth began working at the UI Office of Sustainability in September 2016 as Recycling Coordinator and has since moved into her role as Sustainability Program Manager.  Prior to coming to Iowa, Beth spent ten years in St. Louis working in various sustainability positions.  She worked as a recycling program manager and an environmental health officer for the City of St. Louis.  She also served as the sustainability outreach and education coordinator for Brightside St. Louis, a non-profit organization.  Her academic background includes a B.A. from Augustana College with a major in Geology and minor in Environmental Studies and an M. S. in Environmental Science Management from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
