Feeding People and Pollinators

Welcome to the University of Iowa’s Edible Pollinator Garden—a space where sustainability, community, and nature come together! This garden was created to grow fresh produce for students, faculty, and staff, while also supporting native pollinators as part of our Bee Campus USA commitment through the Xerces Society.

The garden was developed in partnership with UI Facilities Management and D.I.R.T. , UI's student gardening club.  Students and staff worked together to design the space, select the plants, and maintain the garden. It’s a hands-on, collaborative effort that brings together people from across campus.
