Kayleigh is a third year undergraduate from Lisle, Illinois studying Sustainability Science and a minor in English. She will be filling the role of Campus Conservation & Discovery Intern hoping to improve students’ relationship with outdoor spaces on campus while advocating for the protection of ecological processes. Kayleigh is a strong believer in nature being the antidote to emotional and physical wellness. She is most passionate in renewable energy transition, protecting critical ecosystems, and changing consumptive behaviors. She is also involved in food systems research and is the co-president of the Environmental Coalition. In her free time she enjoys being in the sun, relaxing with family, writing poetry, singing, reading, and attending music events.
