Jackie Fuentes is a junior majoring in Dance and Environmental Policy. At the Office of Sustainability and the Environment, Jackie works as a Prompt for the Planet Intern. Her interest in sustainability is rooted in her passion for environmental activism through the fine arts, promoting equitable climate change policy solutions and focusing on the transition to renewable energy. On campus, Jackie is a volunteer coordinator for the Environmental Coalition at the University of Iowa, as well as a community engagement executive with the Undergraduate Dance Organization. In her free time, Jackie enjoys going to concerts, trying new recipes, and walking at Hickory Hill with friends. She is excited to work with the OSE team on creating a positive long-lasting environmental change at the University of Iowa.
