Tippie Begins Unique On-Campus Competition

This year the Tippie College of Business will be offering an innovative and unique opportunity for students. On Oct. 8, 2015 at 5 pm in room W104 of the PBB a brainstorming seminar will be hosted as the first event in a 5 month-long competition for students to help develop and implement ideas that will make a positive impact on campus and in the local community.
Students may choose any activity related to sustainability (environment, energy, equity and diversity, human well-being, economic viability, among others) and should strive to make the greatest positive impact. Impact proposals are due Nov. 6, 2015.
A small number of student teams will be selected as finalists and invited to implement their action plans.
The final competition will be on April 23, 2016, the winner of which will win a $1,000 cash prize.
There are five major components of the competition:
-Form teams.
-Strategize and develop action plans (you may be able to request $500 in funding).
-A smaller number of finalists are selected and invited to implement their action plans.
-Implementation.
-Presentation.
